My name Gauthama Dass Edwin 34 year old live in Malaysia. I just recently I found my uncle family tree that just started from my great grandfather and not beyond that... mean in Sri Lanka. If anyone known this family name Tikiri Bunda, my great grandfather left Sri Lanka to Malaysia in 1918 with his 2 close friend and stayed in Malaysia never returned to Sri Lanka.
I will give more information if someone to help me in this matter.

Oh yah!! Keep Search'n. I have been looking for my family tree too in Ceylon. My great great great Grandfather used to be the King of Jaffna, called Sangilian. tell me if you find mine too.

It won't be hard to trace your family there since SL is such a small place and most people are connected one way or another.

There was a politician called TB Thennakoon, TB stands for Tikiri Banda. You may want to find out where your GGP's hometown is. Sorry, I can't be of any more help to you.
