I am a Sinhalese proud of it, I am only against LTTE Scum human beings and not Tamils.
Sinhalese should get together with Tamils and get rid of LTTE. We don't need to create more social polarization since that won't take us anywhere.
In Sri Lanka, nobody has any pride.

Hammer,It is a nuisance to see the way these Tamils disgrace the Sinhala heritage. We know who came to the island first... these Tamils (descendants of Eelara) destroyed the great ancient Sinhalese civilizations of our forefathers. Now they are trying to divide the country. It is one thing for us to let them stay on the island as guests. But if they abuse our hospitality, that is something else. If you can't understand what it means to be Sinhala, you have been in denial these past 20 years. This is about preservation, not polarization. These LTTE Tamils systematically trying to destroy our heritage and way of life. However, I fight against these things in a much more different way. You have to be very strategic and make sure you don't make unwanted enemies doing so. Remember, LTTE is only a small portion of Tamils. Most Tamils in Sri Lanka are decent nice people and don't want to be a part of this war. LTTE want us to be angry and react against all Tamils. The more Tamils Sinhalese make angry, the more support they get. That exactly they trash our culture and country. I don't get angry with them when they do these things,rather find ways to outsmart them and hit them harder. If you become a hardliner openly, you loose the respect from the world, that exactly what happened to LTTE. But, there are other ways of achieving what you want, you don't have to voice your openion openly when you do so. I am with you and I support 100% of what you believe in, you can get more milage if you change your approach. Hammer |

AP - like Hammer says dude - there's more than one way to skin a cat .... this forum used to be basically an arena where a whole buch of Tamil LTTE lovers got together and trashed everything that was Sri Lankan - especially SInhalese and Buddhism - as well as spreading all sorts of lies and propaganda about Sri Lanka .... anyway that was a couple of years ago and its people like Hammer who have tirelessly taken it up to these rascist terrorist lovin armchair "veerayas" and shut them down .... so think about what he says .... we all share your sentiments my friend .. its just the way we achieve our objective that must be carefully thought out .... |

I accept that the term "Aryan" is a very loose definition. But if we want to know our roots, thats the only way to go. This war is 2/3 race. We are settling history here - both past and present. The only way we can have an undivided Sri Lanka is if Sinhalese unite. I say Sinhalese because its our land and our heritage. Whether or not there is an Eelam, Tamils can only benefit. If Eelam begins to exist, you tell me that the Tamil people will stand up in opposition. That is my point, gentlemen. It's up to Sinhalese to do what we can for our own motherland. We must think of ourselves first because we stand to lose the most. The present situation, in my opinion, is BS. What we need is a honest government that answers to only the Sinhalese people - not just the rich fellows, but especially the ones who send their sons off to war. Napoleon understood this very well. Thats why he chose commoners (peasants) to fight in his armies before he chose well-to-do fellows. He understood that unity of nation was essential to any military victory. You tell me why we're going nowhere after 20 years. We have expats who BS in foreign countries, and a government too corrupt to care any. We have a military thats on the same corrupt level. What we need is leadership. These recent "peace-accords" are utter nonsense. Now these Tiger fellows will infiltrate Army-controlled areas. In a few months, we will be seeing Mullaitivu or Elephant Pass again. I put my mouth where my word is. I could live comfortably overseas, but I'm going back eventually. I will help the country in some way. My wish is that all fellow Sinhalese can say the same thing before they draw their last breath.

APJust thought of washing your brain (Just like LTTE does to its followers) about Visva . Visva is a maniac compulsive gambler and a sex addict. Don’t waste your energy on him. We have let him believe that he is the king on this forum (kind of like Chandrika, her presidency has zero value). If you noticed why they are not talking to us, that was because of Chaminda’s great effort in revealing LTTE criminal activities in Sri Lanka and elsewhere. They are also upset that Terra King Prabhakaran has evaporated Eelam dream and thousands of Tamil kids from our planet. | |
