    500 gr. chopped pitted dates
    1 cup boiling water
    250 gr. Rolang ( Semolina )
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    250 gr.margarine
    200 gr.sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla, Rose & Almond Essence
    4 eggs
    100 gr. cashewnuts, Raisins, Candided Peel, Puhul Dosi ( made out with Whie Pumpkin)
    2 tea Sp. Powdered Spices (Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves & Nutmeg)

    Roast all spices together and powder it. Soak dates, in boiling water & baking soda. keep for 2 hours.

    Add Margerine and slightly roasted rulang together and mix well in a seperate bowl, egg yolks and sugar together mix in a seperate bowl, egg whites to be beaten well seperately.

    Mix sugar and egg yolks to butter mix first, then the dried fruits & cooled dates. Mix well with a wooden spoon mix the rest of the ingredients put the mix in a well greased baking tin and bake in 160 oven for 45 minutes.
