Complaint against the Srilankan Airlines Craziest Cabin Crews.

Complaint against cabin crew in charge:

I would like to write a few words about your cabin crew and your airlines cabin crew in charge.


I am a freelance photographer, and my hobby is Photography. I took 4 photos of aerial view of Hong Kong and 4 photos of aerial view of Bangkok and 4 photos of Interior lighting. The Interior lighting of the cabin was superb, so I took photos. Also I have to mention, I like the in-house entertainment, lovely songs,


After 10 years, I had a chance to listen to these wonderful old songs. Thanks for the service.


While taking the pictures, memory in the camera was full, so I transferred to my small notebook and started listening to the songs. The cabin crew in charge approached me, and he told me, to delete all the photos…I told him, I am listening to my favourite music, I will talk to you after 10 minutes regarding this matter. Please don’t disturb me now. He shouted at me, and said, if you don’t delete those photos NOW, I will instruct the pilot to turn back to Hong Kong. I got angry, and told him, whatever you can do legally, please go ahead. I cannot delete now.


Then another fat lady approached me, (no name badge, no uniform) looks like a passenger, She did not introduced herself, She also started shouting, You don’t have mother, you don’t have sister, why don’t you go and take their pictures?? I asked her, who the hell are you??? Then she said, she is the in charge. I told her, please do not disturb me, I am listening to my favourite music, I will talk to you later. Then the male in charge said, you are a bloody Indian.


Flight landed at Bangkok. All the passengers were getting out one by one… When my turn comes, these 5 male cabin crews stopped me, and they hand over to the Bangkok airport security. The security asked for my passport, and they hold my passport. Also I saw another lady who is the in charge for ground staff. She asked me, don’t you know, photos are not allowed inside the aircraft??? I said, I don’t know. According to her, only terrorist take photos, she doesn’t think out of the box, I don’t know how she becomes the in-charge.


As soon as I came out from the aircraft, one of the male cabin crew, grabbed my camera from my hand, and I can show you his nail marks in my hand. He immediately took out the Memory stick and told me, he is going to confiscate my memory stick. The other cabin crew was searching my camera for the pictures, and the third cabin crew searching my notebook for the photos.


But what are they searching???? It’s a funny question. Are they searching for any naked photos of any cabin crews???? NO, No, NOOO.


As I mentioned earlier, I took 4 photos of the cabin interior lighting, unfortunately, while taking the photo, in 2 of the 4 photos, a cabin crew crossed, so she was in the photo, so they want to delete all the photos. But they cannot mix their personal affair with business. It’s a mental torture for me. If she is their girlfriend/ friend, whatever affair they have no need to show to the passenger, do what ever, outside the air-craft.


In the mean time, the ground staff in-charge disappeared with my passport for more than 30 minutes. I asked the security, where is my passport, both said, they don’t have, She took my passport to her office, and took photocopy. I can sue her for ID theft. May be she want to send a threat letter, to my address, (as in passport) if I make any complaint against her.


At last they hand over me to the Bangkok Airport Police. The Police asked these funny idiots, How I can lodge a complaint, the concerned person is not around. They wrote something in Thai language, and asked me to sign. I left the airport at 11:10pm.


The reason I travelled to Bangkok is to meet the person at the Meeting Lounge between 9pm to 10pm and have to sign the contract of US$20,000/- He was on his way back to his country.


I searched him everywhere, I tried to reach his mobile, but he already left Bangkok.


Next day morning there was shocking sad news waiting for me. They cancelled the 20,000 US$ deal, because I was not there to sign the contract.


Hong Kong, Bangkok return ticket cost 970hk$ + airport tax, for this, you are charging a no-show fees of 300hk$.


In business, no-show fees are very expensive. I will get 10% and my company will get 10% as a commission upon successful deal. Because of these illiterate / nasty / rowdy cabin crews, me, and my company lost 4,000 US$.


Why I use the word Illiterate??? One cabin crew (male) took out the Memory Stick from the camera, and said, you delete the photo; I will give you back the Memory Stick. I told him, You put the memory stick in the camera, then only I can delete, he don’t want to listen to me, How can I delete the photo if he holds the memory stick??? Funny, Crazy, Stupidity……..


After I made several calls, I found the name of the cabin crew is CHERYL. I am going to sue the Sri Lankan airlines for the following reasons.


I lost the business deal.
Evidence: Contract cancellation letter from a British Company.


Does the cabin crew have any rights to search files in a notebook computer which belongs to the passenger, without their consent?


Witness: 2 Securities. + Passengers inside the aircraft.
Evidence: Finger print of your cabin crew in my notebook.


Does the cabin crew have any rights to confiscate /remove my memory stick from the camera?


Witness: 2 securities
Evidence: Finger print of your cabin crew in the Memory Stick.


Does the cabin crew have any rights to search for photos from a camera, which belongs to the passenger, without his/her consent?


Witness: 2 Securities
Evidence: Finger print of your cabin crew in my Camera.


Does the cabin crew in charge have rights to ask questions to passengers like, don’t you have mother, don’t you have sisters, why don’t you go and take their photos???


Your cabin crews deleted the wrong folder in my camera, which was my friend’s wedding ceremony. I am answerable to my friend. I cannot tell him to re-marry again, because these funny / crazy / idiots deleted your photos.


You put me in your shoes, and then you can feel the pinch. How hard time I was facing with your insane cabin crews.


Both my family lawyer and Company lawyer told me not to use either my notebook or camera, which will destroy their finger print.


Cabin crews should stick with their code of conduct. If there is any violation, then this is going to happen.


Is it an offence taking photos inside the air-craft? (As the in charge (lady) shouted). If so, why not they put the NO PHOTOS sign board, next to the NO SMOKING sign board????


If you appoint any crazy/idiots/illiterates as cabin crews, then you have to pay for it. Never ever play with a business man’s time. TIME IS MONEY…. FOR US….


Your cabin crew In-charge told me, CHERYL (cabin crew) she don’t want anyone to take her photo. I am not in love with her. I am not desperate to take her photo. I remember in Malaysia, in a forest I was focusing a parrot, a monkey crossed, same as that; I was taking the interior cabin lighting CHERYL CROSSED.


In the Hong Kong airport 500+ cameras, In the Bangkok Airport 400+ cameras, and if you travel MTR, or MRT in Hong Kong, more than 100 + cameras, If you take a bus in Hong Kong, Driver can see any passenger through Camera, and they record too…If you go Singapore, they placed the camera in the public places 200+ cameras. If you visit U.K. or U.S more than 400,000++ cameras placed in public places in each city. You go any shopping malls; can see 100’s of cameras. You enter inside the lift, there is a camera. There is no place without a camera.


Since CHERYL doesn’t like cameras, these funny idiots (5 male cabin crews) will insist all the securities to shut down all the cameras all over the world where ever she travels. If she doesn’t like cameras, better sit at home. No one will come and disturb you.


Ok, let’s forget about the flight incident. Let us assume, she is going back to the Hotel, from Bangkok airport. I am sitting inside the taxi; she is waiting for the chartered bus. She saw I took a photo, she will follow the taxi, and she will grab my camera, and will delete her photos?? Or these funny idiots will chase my taxi like a movie style??? and will catch me, and delete her photos????


I never got-up from my seat for the entire journey. They deleted all the photos, including my friends wedding ceremony and handed over to the police.


I told this incident to my friend. Not only me, many travellers facing these types of problems. He told me, these people are RACIST.


My friend told me, Always ask for beer can with seal. If the cabin crew doesn’t like you, and if they are racist, they will spit and bring the beer.


One day he saw, one cabin crew accepted bribe from the passenger who is travelling in Economy class, and he allowed the passenger to enjoy the Business class service.


Now I know why some airlines applied for bankruptcy.


MY OPINION ABOUT SRILANKAN AIRLINES.


In-flight entertainment: excellent. But they never allowed me to listen. They always come and disturb you.


Cabin crews: Male: Sri Lankan Airlines appointed some COLOMBU ROWDY’S Rogues / RACIST / Beggars as cabin crews. (As a cost cutting measure)


Cabin crews: Female: No complaints.


Cabin Crew In charge: Both male and female, GARBAGE. Need training. Need more exercise, too fat.


Last but not least, One Million Dollar Question: If you are a business executive or a business man, do you allow any beggars / monkeys to use your personal notebook???

They showed their power inside the air-craft, Every Dog has a day. Now, It's my turn.

Dear Pakaya,

Thanks for your support, Of course, I sent 150 emails to all srilankan (crazyairliner) airlines office all over the world. But No response. The reason may be ........They are receiving thousands of complaints from their passengers, against these mentally retarded Roudy cabin crews. Now the problem is... the management cannot train these Racist, cannot sack also, if they sack chances are very high, these mentals become terrorist. A lot of confusion in the management... One of their employee in the management told me that, Take it easy gopal, they just showed their heroism, They want to show-off infront of these cabin crews (girls), to get their attention. Just ignore them.

Every airlines have a slogan,

Srilankan Airlines Slogan can be like this.....

We have appointed some pimps (male cabin crew) & Prostitutes (female) as cabin crews, (as a cost cutting measure), Now Passengers can enjoy as much as they want..........

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL THE HEAD OFFICE AT COLOMBU, or colombus.

Buddhist clergy complain against treatment on flight
The Island News 1st March 2002

Kandy - The Air-hostesses of the Sri Lankan Airlines should be given an education with regard to the culture and the Buddhist religious norms of Sri Lanka, stressed the Mahanayake Thero of Asgiriya Ven. Udugama Sri Buddharakkitha and the chief custodian of the Sri Maha Bodhi, Anuradhapura Ven. Pallegama Sirinivasa Nayake Thero, yesterday (01).
The Air-hostesses are unaware even of the fact that the Sangha do not consume solid food for the night, the Maha Theros said yesterday (01).

The Nayake Theros registered their disapproval of the services of the air hostesses after the personal experience they (the prelates) had in the 423 flight from Bangkok in the early hours of yesterday (01).

Describing the shoddy treatment the prelates were given in the plane, Ven Pallegama Sirinivasa Atamasthanadhipathi told ‘The Island’ that an air-hostess of the plane 423 that took off from Bangkok airport at 11.15 p.m. inquired from him and the Asgiriya Mahanayake Thero, what they wished to eat.

The air-hostess was told that the prelates did not want anything to eat but a cup of plain tea would be enough.

Subsequently the air-hostess returned with two sets of cups and saucers placed them in front of them and went away, the prelate said.

All the passengers aboard were treated to dinner with food and drinks and later after about two or two-and-a-half hours an air-hostess came to serve tea which the prelates refused.

Ven. Sirinivasa said that they were about to reach the Katunayake International Airport by that time.

This is shameful. The crew of the only and the most praised airline of our country the SriLankan Airline does not possess an iota of the knowledge of the customs, traditions or norms of the people of the Sri Lankan society, he said.

The crews do not know how to treat the Sangha, Sri Lanka being a predominantly Buddhist country, Ven. Sirinivasa Nayake Thero noted.

However, we are making representations to the Prime Minister, the minister in-charge of aviations and the authorities of the SriLankan Airlines to educate the airline crews on the culture of the country the Ven. Nayake Thero added.

The prelates returned to the island in the early hours of yesterday (01) after attending a Buddhist religious ceremony in Thailand.

It will be good for the country and for the airline, if they do so. If the airline had properly trained its staff, they would not ask whether to serve dinner to Buddhist monks. We hope the airline authorities will take action in future to avoid such embarrassing situations.

Srilankan Airlines:
Sri Lankan Airlines are now largely owned by Emirates and are, not surprisingly, better than the old Airlanka.
First time travellers are advised to travel by SriLankan.
Avoid smaller airlines such as Bangladesh, Arabian, Air BurkinaFaso and Andaman Air.
Do not worry about the logo of Srilankan Airlines which does look like a deflated rubber bird. Airlanka's predecessor was
old Air Ceylon which in the 50s,
60s and early seventies operated Dakotas and then a Trident. It is reputed to have carried standing passengers!...No doubt the air hostesses shouted
"Issarahata Yanna! Issarahata Yanna!"
Unless you are used to sitting in the kitchen sink it is best to
avoid charter flights which seem to cater to dwarfs as far as seat pitch goes!

Hi,

I am a srilankan born, and settled in Canada. One day I was molested by a cabin crew (srilankan airlines). He was distributing food to the passengers, So, the trolley was blocked the path-way. I was on my way to the toilet, There was only 6 inches gap, between the seat and the trolley, So I squeeezed and tried to go to the other side.... But he touched my breast, Even I know his name, I told husband about this. As a lawyer he told me, not to spoil your reputation. Just keep quiet. What to do???? Yesterday, we were planning for the christmas trip, So I told him to travel by Srilankan Air, He spit on my face, and said Do you want to get molested again?????

NO NO NO, NO MORE SRILANKAN AIRLINES.
