First, they practically hijacked Ranil's Prez Campaign by bringing down a foreigner
well known for underhandedness and paid him quite a few Millions !!
You can hear his voice in the Tsunami commercial on Radio shouting in his white accent shouting "We need Help!!"
This commercial ran even after political campaigning was officially closed at midnight 14th Nov.

Then they duped a mother from Padukka and took her child and used her for the Political Capaign on TV (instead of putting her in a commercial for milk powder)!!

Then, Sirasa ran an SMS poll on the "Prez Elections" and Mahinda voted for himself,
but the poll gave the vote to Ranil instead. And in that poll, Mahinda was stuck on
22% while Ranil was always ahead at 76% !!!!
Mahinda then rang up "Mad Monkey Entertainment's" and gave them a warning, and then they immediately stopped the poll !!!

And, notice this :- There's a magazine called "Hi" (the high society mag) that has a picture of Padmavati Maharaja (fancy surname to match as well !!) a 60 year old who the mag describes as the "Epitome of Elegance" in it's Oct/Nov 2005 issue.

Convenient timing as well, as the Prez elections are on. and her ex-husband is as
usual heavily financing a politician (Ranil) as a Prez candidate.

Remember how she weasled her way into Chandrika's (Prez) house and got many contracts signed, and was then chased out of the houshold.

The same tactics are now being deployed in the hope of getting her into the Ranil
(Prez household)!!! But, too bad he lost.
[Mind you, I have nothing against Ranil, who is a good guy, but with a lot of bad Business Friend's].

From the time of Premadasa in 1977 when they promised him a house and squeezed him and
the State for all sorts of favours, to the present, the Maharaja Org. has been
directly meddling in Politics with only one purpose - to milk the Country dry and
stash the loot abroad !!!

Yet, we Sri Lankans are so stupid and let their nonsense pass without even a slight
complaint !!!!

I guess we must be a nation of stupid people to tolerate such things endlessly !!!

Tell me which business house, other than the Maharaja's, is so brazenly involved in
Electioneering for over 30 years !!!

Sure, businesses do support financially a Party that has good business policies, but
they don't run the Party's Political Campaign, like these people (the Maharaja's) do !!!

I tell the people of Sri Lanka and the new Prez Mahinda to take action against them and restore Sri Lanka's wealth and Reputation.

I also take the opportunity to Congratulate Prez Mahinda for a Clean Political Campaign and winning the fight like a Gentleman.

Mr Thamilselvan says the new president has the wrong strategy
Tamil Tiger rebels have warned the winner of Sri Lanka's presidential election, Mahinda Rajapakse, of the dangers of any move to break the country's three-year-old ceasefire.

"If they try to use military means to occupy our land or wage a conflict it will have negative implications for the other side," the leader of the rebels' political wing, SP Thamilselvan, told the BBC.

"We hope that they will understand the reality."

In his victory speech in Colombo, Mr Rajapakse promised to bring "an honourable peace to the country".

How he aims to do that is not clear. In his campaign he criticised his main rival for making too many concessions to the Tamil Tigers.

'Try to understand'

Mr Thamilselvan said that Mr Rajapakse was adopting the wrong strategy in promising to take a hard line with the Tigers.

Ofcourse, after election engineering come various and endless demands for business favours of all sorts - but, at whose expense ???
