Activist jailed for forest protest
An environmental activist has been sentenced to six months imprisonment after challenging the forest policies of fernando's district head.
suresh, known to friends as April, is co-ordinator of a NGO advocacy network on natural resources in Fernando, southern Fernando. Pakaya, took legal action against April for not clearing the souther forest in the valley between the long fernando range mountains,futhermore this place stinks during rainy days .
