Karuna Amman’s Tamileela Makkal Viduthalai Pulikal (TMVP) who are engaged in political work, Tsunami rehabilitation and when protecting the people from Vanni Tigers in the East now penetrated in to Vanni, Mannar and Jaffna peninsula with the help of former Vanni region LTTE military commander and Vanni Tigers (LTTE) political party chief Mathaya’s supporters, TMVP sources said.

Mathya who was the head for Vanni region and the political head of the Vanni Tigers (LTTE), later sentenced to death by the Bunker Boy Vellupillai Pirabakaran. Both are from the smugglers strong hold Valvettithurai, a fishing town located in Vadamarachi, Northern Sri Lanka.

While after the Cease Fire agreement between the UNP government and the Vanni Tigers (LTTE) on 2002 former armed groups who were joined in the main stream, former Tamil United Liberation Front (TULF) MP Late Mr. Tharmalingham’s son Mr. Sitharthan’s and former Colombo TULF branch’s and Tamil Youth Front’s secretary Late Umamaheswaran founded People Liberation Organization of Tamil Eelam (PLOTE), UPFA government minister and former People Liberation army (PLA) Caption Douglas Devananda’s Eelam People Democratic Party (EPDP) and Late Commarade Pathmanaba’s and Late Commarade Subathiran (Robert) lead Eelam People Revoluntry Liberation Front (EPRLF) gave back their weapons which they carried for self protection and couldn’t do their political work under the death threats and killing by the Vanni Tigers (LTTE) now the Karuna Amman lead Tamileela Makkal Viduthalai Pulikal (TMVP) penetrating in to Northern Sri Lanka with their Tamil National Army (TNA) and with former Vanni Tigers (LTTE), the sources said.

· Late Tharmalingham MP was killed by TELO on 1985

· Late Umamaheswaran was killed by Vanni Tigers (LTTE) on 1988

· Late Commarade Pathmanaba was killed by Vanni Tigers in Madras with other thirteen on 1990

· Late Commarade Subathiran (Robert) was killed by Vanni Tigers (LTTE) on 2003

All of them killed when they unarmed.
