No word from Defence Secretary about Tiger air craft
[29th January]
Defence Secretary, Asoka Jayawardhana and top government officers are still tight lipped about two light air craft being brought to the country for Tigers allegedly in the form of tsunami relief aid.
His predecessor too adopted the same policy and being a threat to the National Security his silence over this issue keeps people wondering about their responsibilities towards very critical issues of this nature.
The UNP is learnt to have played a key role to have him appointed to this post and his attitude towards such sensitive issues provokes doubts about his integrity and possible covert links with separatism.
