Launching of a United Tamil Front to work for the aspirations of the Tamils

Colombo, 15 October, [Asiantribune.com]:In a bizarre turn of events, launching of a new political formation, “Tamileela Iykkiya Viduthalai Munnani” (TIVM) – Tamileela United Liberation Front has been openly declared today, with the view to consolidate the reserve forces to function together with the noble concept of safeguarding the interests and wellbeing of the Tamils and to take united efforts to achieve the cherished rights and the reasonable aspirations of the Tamils in Sri Lanka.

In an unexpected political turnaround Eelam National Democratic Liberation Front (ENDLF) a registered political Party in Sri Lanka and the recently openly acclaimed political party Tamileela Makkal Viduthalai Puligal (TMVP) have joined together and formed Tamileela Iykkiya Viduthalai Munnani (TIVM) to work towards the freedom of Tamil speaking people in the country.

EDITED

For the welfare of the Tamils, the Eelam National Democratic Liberation Front (ENDLF) and the Tamileela Makkal Viduthalai Puligal (TMVP) had joined their hands and had formed a common front in the name of Tamileela Iykkiya Viduthalai Munnani (TIVM) to work together to achieve the Tamil speaking people’s aspiration. The TIVM calls upon all the good forces that believe in the liberation of the Tamil speaking people to unite under this common umbrella organization. We urge the Tamil speaking people to join the TIVM forgetting all their past bitter experiences and their differences to find an everlasting solution to ethnic crisis in Sri Lanka.

With regards,

Sgd G.Gnanasekaran, General Secretary, Eelam National Democratic Liberation Front

V.Muralitharan (Karuna), President, Tamileela Makkal Viduthalai Pulikal
