Mr. Thamilchelvan read out a message of condolence on behalf of the Liberation

Around Friday noon, Liberation Tigers led by Parthipan received the body of Mr.

Yes Baylon,

A Great Leader. Very Greately missed. After 1983 Riotes, in aroung 1984-85, Sihala Buddhist Army carried out series of Massacres in Jaffna. One of the most famous one was still known as the Valvettiturai Massacre. One early in the morning in 1984, Sons of the Greate Buddha rounded up, Valvetty, Valvettiturai & Uduppiddy Areas, did house to house searches for Koddia throughout the day, arrested a lots of youngsters, lined them up at Poligandy Library at the end of the day, shot & killed all of them cold bloodly. Rest of them were taken to POOSA Jail in the south. Right after that massacre, after seeing many of my highschool friends, whom I grew up from Nursary Years and two relatives got killed that day, I esacped to Madras, India.

At that time, TULF Tamil Leaders, including Amirthalingam & Sivasithamparam(as well as Tigers, Prabaharan, TELO, TELA, EROS, EPRLF, PLOTE etc.), resigned their seats in SL Parliament, lived in Madras as well. Before I came to Canada as a refugee, I personally visited Mr. Sivasithamparam to get a letter from him stating I was affected by SLA in VVT, in order to help me get ASYLUM in the west. He was very helpfull and I still have the hand written letter he gave me.

HE WAS A VERY NOBLE POLITICIAN. HE FIRST ELECTED in Uduppiddy Electorate, later he was elected in 1972 at Nallur, elected with highest margin in the Ceylon history.

HE WOULD BE GREATELY MISSED!! THANK YOU SIR, FOR THE JOB WELL DONE!!! He has now passed the torch to the Tigers. He would live peacefully in Heaven knowing, we will be well taking care of in the hands of the Tigers.
