According to Mahawamsa Vijaya and 700 of his followers came to present day SL from Orissa. People of Orissa are semi-Indo Aryans. Viyaya and his followers mixed with atleast many tens of thousands of Veddhas. The Veddha population at that time could have been much more. The Veddhas are related to Australian aboriginies and most probably to Dravidians. So ethnically Sinhalese are 95% Veddhas(semi Dravidians) and only 5% semi-Indo Aryans. But the Sinhala language is 60% Indo-Aryan. |

The black negroid Dravidian mosquito SAM is obviously jealous of Sinhala Aryan ancestry. Look at him questioning science with no iota of evidence at all. Mahavamsa tells us that Sinhalese came from Northern India. Thats all we need to know, 'cause even today, the divide between North Indians (Punbajis,Marathis) etc. and South Indians (Tamil Nadu) is obvious. This divide can be traced all the way back to the Aryan invasion of India, and the Aryan inhumane (in my opinion, JUSTIFIABLE) treatment of the Harappan-era Dravidian mongrels. The final evidence rests in Sinhala being partially formed from Sanskrit, a pre-eminent Indo-European language related to Latin and other several other modern-day Aryan languages.
