Happy Thai pongal for every body even they could (can) not cook pongal. Thai ( In term of Januray Month) pongal is celebrated only by Tamils. All Hindus do not celebrate Thai Pongal, but all tamils celebrate. Today is January 1st for Tamils, as Sun enter new pharse of circle according tamils rather than 14 days ago according English (or European) calculations. In tamil proverb, thai piranthal vali pirakom, in English translation, when January start, will get way out for all problems( it is not direct translation, translation of the meaning) Again, Happy Thai pongal for every body. |

Happy Thai pongal for you too.Although, it is simply a wish, I will wish you back since it is a human tradition (most traditions does not make sense anyway, it is like Nike motto, JUST DO IT!). “when January start, will get way out for all problems” Actually, When January start, will replace your old problems with new ones. If you don’t like them, wait another 12 months. Some problems don’t go away even if you wait three decades. So what do you do, make yourself happy, eat, drink, dance, help others do the same.
