The so called invincible Tamil Tigers led by their fisherman/smuggler turned "Leader of the Tamil people" (who has not spent more than eight years in a school his whole life) proved to have the political acumen and intelligence of a sprat, ran out of Jaffna with his fellow terrorists and collaborators. Those civilians who wanted to stay behind were forced out by the Demi-God and his LTTE thugs at gun point emptying the town of its civilians faster than Pol Pot (who emptied the Cambodian Capital into the killing fields) and then claimed that the people were with the Tamil Tigers.( imagine Pol Pot claiming that the people left the Capital into the killing fields because the people were with him".)

When the terrorists in Jaffna began the killings some twenty years ago there were some 30,000 Sinhala people living in the predominantly Tamil city of Jaffna. The LTTE and their collaborators carried out ethnic cleansing killing the Sinhala people or driving them out. Soon afterwards they gave the Muslims, another minority living in Jaffna 24 hours to get out, completely cleansing Jaffna of all ethnic minorities.["LTTE insurgents expelled some 46,000 muslim inhabitants from their homes in 1990-virtually the entire Muslim population"]extract from US state department Human rights report on Sri Lanaka- published March 1996 Now these "saviours of the Tamil people" and their collaborators have themselves been driven out of Jaffna and they are preventing the innocent civilians from returning to their homes by issuing "visa's" to one member of a family at a time to leave the Terrorist held areas. If this family member fails to return, their property and valuables are confiscated and his/her remaining family members punished.

To avoid detection by the Sri Lankan security forces these Tamil Terrorists mingle with the civilian population. In their propaganda calendars, videos etc. teenagers (boys and girls not more than fourteen years of age ) and old folk are photographed carrying weapons and are labled " auxiliaries". When they clash with the security forces and are killed the terrorist collaborators living in the West cry out that "civilians" are being killed by the Sinhalese dominated Sri Lankan Government.

75% of Sri Lanka's population are Sinhalese, so it has a Sinhalese dominated Government as England has a English dominated government and as the US has a American dominated Government. Do these Tamil Terrorists expect a Tamil dominated Government in Sri Lanka, an Indian or West Indian dominated Government in the UK and a Chinese dominated Government in the US ?

In the North and the East of Sri Lanka the Terrorist are demanding a "Tamil Homeland" and are killing Sinhala villagers in these areas claiming that they are colonising "Tamil Homelands". But more than two million Tamils ( including one million Indian Tamils ) live in Sinhala areas. So the logic of these Tamils is that if 30,000 Sinhala villagers live in Tamil areas they should be killed because they are colonising "Tamil Homelands" but it is quite acceptable for two million Tamils to live in Sinhala areas. These are examples of the chronic and insane logic of these Tamil Terrorists which has resulted in this continuing conflict.

The Tamil Terrorists claim that they are being discriminated against. But most of their demands were met more than a decade ago. They often harp on grievances which are no longer relevant today.[" Tamils maintain that they have long been the victims of systematic discrimination in university education, government employment, and in other matters controlled by the government. However, in recent years there has been little evidence of overt discrimination in university enrollment or government employment."]extract from US state department Human rights report on Sri Lanka- published March 1996 Discrimination exist in every society-White against Black in Western countries, Hindu against Muslim in India, Malay's against Chinese in Malaysia etc. The discrimination that is found in Sri Lanka is far milder than that found in India or Malaysia. It certainly does not warrant shooting at the Democratically elected Sri Lankan Government or exploding truck bombs and killing civilians. The Tamil people do not need to be liberated by a bunch of barbarians.

The Tamil Terrorist are demanding a separate state because they allege being discriminated against by the Sinhala majority. Can you imagine the Indians living in Southall in England or the West Indians in Brixton (England ) demanding a separate state because they are being discriminated against by the English? Can you imagine the Chinese community in the US or Canada claiming that they are being discriminated against and demanding a separate state? If these separatist groups do not get what they want would they turn to terrorism to achieve their goals?

The Tamil Terrorists claim that they are not a minority but a nation and that they had a kingdom in the North. But the fact is this Kingdom of Jaffnapatnum which lasted less than 300 years came into being as a result of Tamil invasions from South India to Sri Lanka ( The (Tamil) Vijayanagar Empire spread from Tamil south India to Sinhala Sri Lanka, Malaya, Singapore and Indonesia.). Before these Tamil invasions the Sinhalese lived in the North of Sri Lanka in the Kingdom of Raja Rata for more than 1800 years ( 548 BC to 1300's (AD)) with the capital at Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa. The kingdom of Jaffnapatnum came into being after the fall of Polonnaruwa and the decline (as a result of Tamil invasions and malaria) of Central Authority which resulted in the rise of nine small kingdoms in the country including one in Jaffnapatnum. All these small kingdoms paid tribute to the more powerful kingdoms of Kotte and then Kandy. see Kingdom of Jaffnapatnum

Considering that Sri Lanka has a recorded history of over 2,500 years, most Tamils in Sri Lanka today are recent arrivals. With the collapse of Central Authority and the rise of nine Kingdoms made the country weak. The Portuguese arrived (c.1505) and conquered the coastal areas and soon afterwards large numbers of Tamils arrived in the country encouraged by the Portuguese to satisfy their commercial interests - growing tobacco in Jaffna. Several European visitors to Jaffna at this time have recorded that there were more "foreigners" in Jaffna ( Tamil immigrants from the Coromodal coast) than local Ceylonese. The British brought in another million Tamils to grow Tea in the 1800's.

While discrimination exists in every society, it is the duty of all citizens to fight discrimination politically and peacefully. This does not mean that all problems could be solved instantly. In Europe and in the US with all the education and resources discrimination still exists. This does not justify Terrorism. Discrimination is not the real reason for Terrorism in Sri Lanka, it is an excuse to justify terrorism. The real reason is a hidden agenda by a group (LTTE) of blood thirsty monsters (with the same logic as Pol Pot of Cambodia) to set up a separate state. To achieve this they will lie, defraud, rape and murder ruining the lives of many millions of people in an ancient, beautiful and a great nation- Sri Lanka.

One Tamil friend told me that "the Wellala's have been side-lined and that the Fisherman are calling the shots". The Wellala's were part of the Tamil community who were proud, educated, hard-working, economically informed and dynamic, and traditionally led the Tamil people. They produced experienced politicians who knew their onions. These traditional Tamil Hindu leaders have been murdered, their homes confiscated and power grabbed by a violent group of fisher/smugglers who are not Hindu's. The Democratic Tamil political parties are under siege, their leaders assassinated by the Murderous Terrorists, are taking refuge in Colombo. The LTTE's leadership is everything the Tamil people are not. The LTTE leadership is uneducated, non-Hindu, murderous terrorists who have grabbed power by terror and led the Hindu Tamils to suffering, humiliation, defeat and death. The Tamil civilians are caught up in the same mental state that made most Germans in the 1930's think that the Nazi's and Hitler were great and Iraqi civilians who think that Saddam Hussain is a gift from God. The LTTE terrorists and their collaborators must be eradicated and peace democracy and "reality" brought back to the Northern Province.
