The General Surgical Units

 

There are three general surgical units in the hospital including  The University Surgical Unit. Open surgery as well as endoscopic surgery is carried out here. Endoscopic facilities include upper GI endoscopy as well as Colonoscopy. Diagnostic & therapeutic Laparoscopic surgery is also done.

    ERCP and therapeutic Upper GI endoscopy

Thursday and Friday - 8 am to 12 noon 

    Upper and Lower GI endoscopy

Theatre sessions

Tuesday - 2 pm - minor OT
Monday and Wednesday - 8 am to 12 noon - routine theatre
Friday/ Saturday - once in three weeks (8am to 12 noon) - routine theatre
