Help with cooking pittu?

Postby sanalka on Sun Jul 26, 2009 1:44 am

Hi everybody,
I went to Sri Lanka for a while and decided that I wanted to be able to cook some of the amazing food when I got home...I have various tools and I was able to find various recipes here (thankyou), however I had some problems when it came to cooking pittu. I tried to make it for dinner one night, and I thought that I had followed the recipe well, except instead of being dry and easily breakable, the result was soggy and heavy. It ended up being a little bit of a disaster. Can anybody advise me with what might have gone wrong?

Thankyou, I really appreciate this
:)
