Mushroom Bites

    1 lb shitake mushrooms
    2 eggs
    1 cup bread crumbs
    1 cup flour
    salt & pepper
    1/2 cup oil

    Wipe the mushrooms with damp towel.
    Cut the mushroom (length wise) 4 pieces. Add salt & pepper to the mushrooms. Set aside. Beat the eggs in another bowl.
    In a small bowl place the flour. Add salt & pepper. Flour the mushrooms. Then dip it in the egg.
    Next coat with bread crumbs and fry them until they turn golden brown.
    Serve hot with ketchup or sweet & sour sauce.
