6 pieces freshly toasted bread 1/3 cup(80ml) mayonnaise iceberg lettuce leaves 1large(250g) tomato, sliced 4 bacon rashers, fried crisply or grilled 2 small (340g) chicken breast fillets, pan fried or grilled, sliced.
Spread the mayonnaise on the toast. Place a lettuce leaf on one slice, top with tomatoes and chicken, then another slice of toast top with lettuce, bacon, chicken and tomato, then remaining slice of toast. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Serve with dill pickle and potato chips.
Note: The classical club sandwich is made with three pieces of toast and cut in half diagonally. It's a delicious sandwich if all the ingredients are freshly prepared: the chicken, bacon and toast.
