1. 3 tbs oil
2. 1 clove garlic, minced
3. 1 medium onion, minced
4. 1 egg, beaten
5. 1/4 cups bread crumbs
6. 1/2lb shrimp or chicken; diced
7. 3 tbs soy sauce
8. 12-oz pkg won ton wrappers Method
Heat oil in skillet to medium heat.
Saute onion and garlic until transparent
Add tofu and shrimp or chicken. Saute 3
minutes.Take mixtuer out of skillet.
Place in bowl with bread crumbs; add
soy sauce and beaten egg and mix together.
Place ateaspoon of mixture into each wonton
wrapper and deep fry until golden brown;
or drop into soup and simmer for 5 minutes.
Yields 40 wontons.
