Green Beans with Tomatoes

      This is a vegetarian side-dish. It's a quick and easy recipe.

      1 lb green beans, cut into 1" pieces
      1 or 2 tomatoes (chopped)
      1 tbsp vegetable oil
      1/4 tsp tumeric powder
      3 cloves of garlic (minced)
      1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
      1 tbsp soy sauce
      salt & pepper to taste

      Heat a pan on medium heat. When the pan is hot add the oil. Add the tumeric seeds to the oil. Stir. Add the tomatoes, ginger and the garlic and fry for couple of minutes.

      Next add the green beans, onions, soy sauce, salt & pepper and stir. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes stirring in between.

      Serve hot. Serves 4 - 6.
