Ingredients: 1/2 kg. mutton cut into pieces 1/2 cup coconut oil or vegetable oil or ghee or butter 2 tbs. curry powder 1/2 fresh coconut grated and finely grounded salt and chili powder to taste 1 tsp. cardamom, cinnamon and cloves altogether grounded rampe and few curry leaves 4 large onions minced fine a few coriander leaves.
Method: boil meat with 1/2 the onion, salt and 1cup of water and rampe in a pressure cooker till meat is tender. in another pan fry remaining onions in oil till golden brown. add coconut and fry till light brown. add spices, curry powder, curry leaves, and chilli powder and cook the meat till gravy thickens, and serve hot with rice or bread.
