QUICK minestrone

      1 medium carrot chopped coarsely
      1 trimmed stick celery chopped
      350g leek chopped
      3 bacon rashers, chopped
      200g potato chopped
      2x 400g cans tomatoes
      750ml vegetable stock
      1.25 litres water
      150g smll pasta shapes
      300g can butter beans, rinsed, drained
      110g chopped frozen green beans

      Heat oil in large saucepan; cookcarrot, celery, leek, bacon and potato, stirring, until leek is soft.
      Stir in lundrained tomatoes, stock and the water. Bring to a boil, add pasta; simmer, uncovered, about 10 minutes or until pasta is tender. Add both beans;simmer, uncoveed, until hot.
