1Kg of basmati or red rice
3 can of coconut milk
Pinch of salt

For pol-peni
3 cups of brown sugar
Desiccated coconut

Method
First wash the rice and add the coconut milk and salt.
Then cook under medium heat for about thirty minutes.

Pol-peni:
First add the sugar and half cup of water and bring to a boil. Then add the coconut and mix together.

To make imbul kiribath:
First make a small pol-peni ball and cover the ball with milk rice. Form a tight ball with your hands.

Serve warm.
