You Have Stepped Inside Dhamindra's world

Hi! I'm Dhamindra Parakrama.I was born and raised in Sri Lanka, a tropical island which is known as the pearl of the Indian ocean. I kinnda thought that it would be nice of me to include a picture of the lovely beaches Sri Lanka boasts of to show my gratitude to Mother Lanka. I started my formal education at the age of 6 and attended Ananda college in colombo, Sri Lanka till the end of my high school carrier.As for my hobbies, well... I work out, play basket ball with my friends and hang out with them when I'm stressed out with college work. After my high school graduation I moved to USA with the intention of getting in to college here in the USA. By the way I was not that keen on entering the stream of university education in Sri Lanka. So I applied to several universities in the east coast of the USA and finally decided to accept the offer from Salisbury State University in Salisbury, Maryland. I came to salisbury with the intention of becoming a business major. I have reconsidered to change to Engineering major. But as for today I'm still in track to major in Business. A reason for this could be my new found habit of "playing" with the computer related stuff I guess Fun stuff!! yeah right!! One thing that I kinda found to be funny with people and computers is, that I've encounted seniors at Salisbury who payed 120 grand for an undergrad degree but still doesn't know that if they do not save their thesis proposal on a disk, it is not gonna be there after they shut down the computer. Is this stupidity, ignarance or what? To be continued..............
