Highlights of the Visa orientation program held in USEFI on April 25, 1997.
It's not too encouraging but it's worth reading nevertheless.

(1) Getting a visa is not going to be a cakewalk like it happened last year

(2) Be prepared to answer these three questions:

	(a) Why do you want to go to a particular university?
	(b) How do you plan to finance yourself?
	(c) Why would you not want to stay in the US?

(3) Policy this year is, "We are going to assume all visa applicants are
potential immigrants unless proven otherwise"

(4) Don't lie!

(5) No token system

(6) Keep your stuff (I-20, etc.) in a *very* organized fashion

(7) Clarity of thought and future plans helps
