Multiples and twins Engage in Research through Culture
Multiples and twins Engage in Research through Culture (MERC) is a project to be commenced by the Sri Lankan Twin Registry to reactivate Multiple Birth Foundation (MBF). There will be a competition for multifarious cultural activities (art, drama, prose, short movies etc) culminating in an exhibition under the theme of twins & multiples in health research. A cultural pageant and the competition which is planned to take place by the end of 2010 will be strategically used to mobilize twins & multiples and their families to the SLTR and MBF.
The finale of the competition will be a mega cultural event that entails an exhibition of art, sculpture, photography, short films, poetry, prose reading, drama, singing and dancing. The creative output from this cultural event will be reproduced in book with a CD for future use.
This is a good opportunity to show your talent and skills. You can participate for more than one activity. Please complete the application form (English / Sinhala) and send it to the address below.
