UNIDENTIFIED AIRCRAFTS (98 Nov 18)
Navy on Monday the 16th has fired at an aircraft off Peduru Thuduwa coast. This is the latest incident involving unidentified aircrafts since September 26.
President Chandrika Kumaratunga during a meeting with New Delhi based South African high commissioner to Sri Lanka, had earlier told that South African built helicopters had been sighted in north of the country.
As these aircrafts have not been identified nothing much can be said about them. However if the LTTE is in possession of South African or other aircrafts the armed forces will have to drastically revise their strategies.
