Sri Lanka Embassy in Sweden relocates the Consular Section

The Sri Lanka Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden redesigned its Consular Section to serve the public in a pleasant and customer-friendly environment ensuring effective service delivery. The Consular Section is now relocated from the first floor to the ground floor of the Embassy providing enhanced space for the visitors and facilitating easy access for the disabled persons. Given the huge potential for Sri Lanka Tourism in Sweden, arrangements have been made to display large posters and videos on Sri Lanka tourism attractions and to hand over tourism promotional materials to the visitors.

The new Consular Section was declared open by H.E Mr Sudantha Ganegama Arachchi, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Sweden, together with the Embassy staff on 20th February 2019. The redesigning and relocation of the Consular Section is an activity in a series of initiatives being taken by the Embassy to improve the quality of service delivery to the public.
