World champion stunt rider Chris Pfeiffer will conduct an encore tour of the island by performing in Jaffna tomorrow (1st March) and in Colombo on 3rd March. Pfeiffer will perform an action packed ‘street bike stunt show’ in the open space opposite the Duraiappa Stadium in Jaffna from 3.00 pm. The Colombo stunt will be on Saturday at Nelum Pokuna Mawathe (Green Path) at 3.00 pm and at the WTC, Bank of Ceylon Mawatha in Fort starting at 5.00pm.

After the phenomenal success of his 2009 tour, Chris Pfeiffer will take on Jaffna for the first time. The ‘Red Bull Street Tour’ will be the first of its kind to take place in the Northern Capital. This pioneering event will also be the first action sports event to take place in Jaffna in over 3 decades. Chris Pfeiffer is a legend in the world of stunt bike riding. He took up riding motorbikes in the mid 1990s and he’s been re-writing the laws of what is capable on two wheels.

Pfeiffer also has four European and four World Championship titles to his credit. He is the only man in history to have scaled the level three climb at Via Tina in Arco, Italy, on his bike. In the 2004 ‘Stunt wars’ contest in Florida he pulled off a 115-degree wheelie. - That super-human feat not only won him the competition, but also landed him a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Admission is free for all shows in Colombo and Jaffna.
