Addressing the media at the Mahaweli Centre to day, Minister Ranawaka said added that Ranil's statement that he could get the GSP + facility if the President was toppled was a clear evidence that Ranil conspired with certain international forces against the country.

He recalled that Ranil helped the LTTE through a ceasefire agreement and the contents in former Defence Secretary, Austin Fernando's book was testimony to that effect.

Ranawaka claimed that the Ranil-Mangala combination was working hard to isolate Sri Lanka from the international community.

He said that JVP's Somawansa Amarasinghe too was a part of the Ranil- Mangala conspiracy against the country.

The minister added that President Mahinda Rajapaksa regained freedom in a direct way without succumbing to any pressure and urged the people to rally round the President to protect the freedom of this country.
