The Sri Lankan community in Los Angeles is organizing a Farewell Dinner to the outgoing Consul General, Mr. Jaliya Wickramasuriya, to appreciate and honor his contributions rendered to the community, as well as to congratulate him on his new role as the Sri Lankan Ambassador to the United States.
During his short spell as the Consul General, Mr. Wickramasuriya has brought a change to the Sri Lankan community in Los Angeles through his competent organization skills by marshalling the local talent that brought the community together.
We shall appreciate it if you could inform us before April 10th of 2008 whether you will be attending this event and if so, the number of seats you will need with CASH CHECK. As there is very limited number of seats, the reservations will be done only on first-come first-served basis until April 10th. Dinner tickets are priced at US $20.
