Mar 1 (InfoLanka) The Defence Ministry has decided to keep the A-9 road opened for traffic on Sunday March 2 from 7.00 am to 6.30 pm to facilitate the return journey of the Hindus taking part in religious ceremonies on Maha Sivarathri day which is celebrated on March 1.
Accordingly, entry and exit points at Muhamalai, Omanthai, Uilankulam and Madhu will remain open for traffic on Sunday from 7.00 am to 6.30 pm.
These entry and exit points are usually kept open for traffic from 7.00 am to 5.30 pm from Monday to Saturday but kept closed on Sundays.
