Application and Registration
To be considered for admission, an applicant must fill his/her
application (Registration) through an authorized agent or
Office of Local representative between May 15th – September
1st (for fall intake) and between October 15th – February
1st (for spring intake) prior to the year of entry. Deadline
of admission could change depending on the prospective year.
With completed application form, you must attaché certified
copies of Passport valid for all countries, certificates of
secondary or higher education, 12 color photographs (3*4cm),
English translation of Birth Certificate, Health report inclusive
of HIV test with your registration.
If you have attended graduate school and wish to join KSMU
from your completed or uncompleted Degree addition to above
documents have to be attached.
- If you have completed a graduate
Degree (BSc., MD….est.), certified copy of your
Degree
- If you have uncompleted graduate
certificate is in the sciences/medicine, certified copy
of Degree with marks of each subject studied.

Acceptance Letter
Upon applicant information, if it covers minimum requirements
of admission for respective year KSMU will issue an authorized
document called “Acceptance Letter” which will
be addressed to the applicant.
As soon as your “Acceptance Letter” is issued,
we take our responsibility to send you a copy by fax or e-mail
attachment.
We do not have an exact format of acceptance, but usually
all excepted students have to transfer his/her 1st year course
fee, if “Acceptance Letter” mentioned if so.
Guarantee of the enrolment
According
to our policy of international admissions all accepted students
must transfer his/her 1st year course fee, to the accounts
of representative of KSMU. Details of beneficiary of transaction
will be included in the “Acceptance Letter” addressed
to you.
We also consent bank guarantee of your sponsor. After having
either proof of your transaction or bank guarantees we could
proceed with the preparation of your “Invitation Letter”.
Preparation of “Invitation Letter” will take minimum
of 20 working days in Russia.
Note:
- students who forward bank guarantees
must transfer his/her 1st year course fee before the departure
from homeland and students who have not paid before the
departure are NOT allowed to enter the territory of Russian
Federation.
Invitation Letter
“Invitation Letter” is an authorized document
issued by the administration of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs
of Russian Federation. Further it has to be certified by the
authority of Ministry of Public Health of Russian federation,
Kursk State Medical University.
With the issue of your “Invitation Letter” your
identification is attached to the offices of intelligence
and police of Russian Federation.
Preparation of “Invitation Letter” will take minimum
of 20 working days in Russia.
“Invitation Letter” is NOT forwarded to the student
and forwarded only to an authorized agent through the office
of local representative.
“Invitation Letter” will be sent to your agent/Office
of Local Representative only by DHL, FedEx or EMS.
Visa
Once your agent/Office of local Representative receives your
invitation of your eligibility to apply for the visa granted
by the councilor department of Russian embassy in your country.
With your visa application you should attach the following
documents.
The applicant should present

valid for all countries

Invitation letter

Return Air ticket or proof of Air ticket reservation.

Certified copy of secondary educational certificate,

Certified
Copy of Birth certificate (English Translated), confirmed
by a notary public.

Certificate
of heath status, including AIDS-test.

color photographs (4x6 cm)
Note
:- Visa will be
arranged by your local representative(or authorized agent)
after fulfilling all legal requirements.
Students Arrival to Moscow and Airport Pick-up
Prospective student must pay his/her 1st year course fee to
the accounts of representative of KSMU, before the departure.
Prospective student or his agent is required to inform the
Office of Representative the details of flight such as Number,
Date and Time of Arrival at Moscow International Airport (MIA)
FIVE DAYS IN ADVANCE.
Students WILL NOT be allowed to enter the territory of the
Russian Federation, if he/she arrivals at MIA without the
knowledge of the Representative or if student couldn’t
forward the proof of payment of 1st year course fee in advance.
An Officer from Deans Office & the Representative will
receive you at MIA and accompany you from Moscow International
Airport to the Hostel, KSMU.
On the way Refreshments and Telephone facilities will be provided
to contact parents at Home.
Note
:- KSMU
provides all students with transportation from MIA to the
Kursk State Medical University at a cost.
Enroll in the University
As soon as the student reaches KSMU, he/she will be provided
with accommodation in a hostel. Food and transportation is
provided on free of charge first few days.
Enrolment to KSMU begins with signing a contract valid for
the period of studies (according to the program chosen) and
student will be permitted to sit for KSMU admission test.
To continue with studies students must settle their payments
for hostel accommodation (150 USD) and Russian language studies
(200 USD).
Further, office of your representative will provide you with
the following:
- Providing of
True Information & guidance through out your stay in
Russia.
- Help in obtaining
foreign currency
- Providing students
with a list of required items needed for their stay in Russia
- Making Flight
Arrangements for traveling
- Arrange to Settle-down
and Enroll the student in the University
- Assist in Familiarizing
with the New Environment
- Assist you to
open an International Bank Account within a week of reaching
Kursk
- Assist you to
obtain a Financial Permit from KSMU for International Money
Transactions.
- Advice Students
to be aware with the rules and regulations of KSMU and important
tips to be adapted to the environment and to travel in Russia
- Assisting parents
with information about their children's studies, to be aware
of their children's health, financial situations etc.
